CASE SATS

In autumn 2006, Labyrintti Media created a mobile marketing campaign for SATS, the leading Nordic health club chain. Customers interested in sports and exercise activities were offered free tours of their nearby SATS health clubs with an invitation that could be requested free of charge by sending a text message.

The potential customer sent the name of the health club closest to him or her along with his or her contact information as a text message to a service number and received an invitation to the health club as a reply. The invitation was valid for one week after the request. The invitee's contact information and telephone number were saved into a database for later use. The text message campaign was advertised in newspapers, magazines and web sites.

More than one thousand customers requested the invitation.
